Old Structure Gets New Life
Current plans for the building include a kitchen for Sweetport, the ice cream and confection business Spikes and his wife, Nicole, operate. The space also will house the Sweetport food truck when it is not in service. Spikes also plans to put a workshop in the space as well.

Interestingly, the incidence significantly grows after the age of 55 due to the fact patients are at an increased risk of developing vascular insults, tumors and neurodegenerative disorders.

People who have type 1 diabetes do not produce insulin in their bodies, which is an important hormone needed to control blood sugar levels. In contrast, people with type 2 diabetes, insulin is produced but does not work as effectively as supposed to due to insulin resistance.

Let It Snow, Let Your Imagination Go
Awinter wonderland extravaganza is coming to Shreveport. From Nov. 30 2019 through Jan. 30, the first floor of Sci- Port Discovery Center will be transformed into Sno-Port – a temporary, winter-themed interactive exhibit that will showcase the wonders and science of snow.
