For ages 3-12. A rural, 38-acre school site offers part- and full-day activities Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. They offer daily rhythm for younger children of outside/ inside games, crafts, water play, baking, storytelling, nature walks, picnics and song. Week-long theme camps for older children include woodworking, wild crafting, backyard naturalism and beekeeping. The camp is centrally located minutes from both Longmont and Boulder, east of Diagonal Highway. Camp Morning Glory is for children ages 3-7 and Camp Cotton Wood is for children ages 8-12. Camp Morning Glory offers two- and three-week sessions throughout the summer. Camp Cotton Wood offers week-long themed camps including making go-karts and circus camps. MACC’s Summer Art Academy
offers an extensive range of arts program for kids grades one through
12. The visual arts are vital to the development of your child’s

experience using quality materials in a studio environment. Whether

POSH art classes are
designed for children 5-14 years old. Your children will have fun and
learn something new about painting each day as they develop knowledge
about color, composition and brush techniques using acrylics on canvas.
All POSH classes are taught by professional artists dedicated to fun art
education. Our certified instructors teach through encouragement and
develop painting skills in a nurturing environment. Classes change
subject themes weekly and each picture will emphasize an artistic
concept. Classes include all painting materials: a 16-by-20-inch canvas,
a snack and one hour and 45 minutes of instruction. Your child will

Half and full-day
art-making workshops offered during the weeks of June 4 - Aug. 3. For
ages 5-8 and 9-12. 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Join the
Lunch Bunch from noon-1p.m. for a fun-filled break with art-making and
games.
Get ready for
an exciting summer filled with art! Young Artists at Work is BMoCA’s
hands-on art-making camp featuring workshops designed by visiting
artists around inspired themes and the museum’s exhibitions. Here are
just a few of this summer’s workshops:
Paper
Passion: Discover your passion for paper. Make animals and clothing and
design a miniature tree house with artist Heather Cherry.
From
Sumi to Sharpie: Inspired by contemporary and traditional Japanese art,
make Kanjii characters, anime selfportraits, and more with artist
Angela Beloian.
Art Adventurer: Join artist Julia Lunk and create a storybook world full of fairies, boats, castles, and moats.
Wearable,
Shareable: Join artist Sarah Kinn for a week of making upcycled,
wearable art for you and your friends! You will make hats, capes,
bracelets, and bags–all with re-purposed materials.
Artists
will guide children as they explore new methods and incorporate unique
materials. Workshops are intentionally kept small in order to provide
children with plenty of individualized attention. Each week culminates
in a student exhibition and reception for families in the museum.

(Entering third through
sixth grades) Each week will offer an art theme that will inspire and
challenge our campers. They will be exposed to a wide variety of
artists' work and be encouraged to create their own creative
impressions. New games will be implemented into this year’s program to
engage children in active play and “reset” their creative minds. In
addition to creative art experiences, campers will enjoy an afternoon at
a local pool and a field trip to explore the art that surrounds us.
Come to our art gallery show and admire our accomplishments every Friday
afternoon from 4-5:30 p.m.
